Level 5-4 (Level 4-4 in the GBA version) is the fourth level of Spooky House in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its remake. The high score for this level in the original version is 31000. In the Nintendo Switch remake, the target time for this level's Time Attack is 60.00.

OverviewEdit

The second area

In the GBA version only, the level opens with a cinematic showing Mario moving past a Boo, turning to stop it, and then repeating.

In the first area, there is a Boo that will follow the player around. Moving past the first couple of falling spikes, the player needs to use the next group as platforms to get across a pit of spikes. After pressing the blue Color Switch, the player needs to return to the first set of falling spikes and use the one on the right as a platform to reach some ropes. Using the ropes to reach some suspended platforms, the player needs to move across the blue platform to reach a lift that moves between a red Color Switch, the Key, and the locked door on a red platform.

The second area also has a Boo that will follow the player around. The player first needs to jump up platforms to the left and climb the red ladder, followed by jumping onto the Sir Shovalot. Using the Sir Shovalot as a platform, the player can reach some lifts, below the first of which are platforms with a 1-Up Mushroom and a blue Color Switch on them. After pressing the blue Color Switch, the player needs to jump onto the lifts to return to the platform with the Sir Shovalot. By crouching and allowing the Sir Shovalot to push the player through the small passage, the player will fall onto the Mini-Mario.

EnemiesEdit

Present locationsEdit

  • Red: In the first area, above the first falling spike.
  • Yellow: In the first area, next to the blue Color Switch.
  • Blue: In the second area, above the lifts.
