Der gestohlene Sarg Hip und Hop stehlen den goldenen Sarkophag von Prinz Mushroomkhamen, und erwecken den Zom von Mammi Mumie Mushroomkhamen, die Wüstenland auf der Suche nach ihrem entführten Sohn verwüstet. Die Mario-Brüder kommen den verängstigten Bewohnern des Wüstenlandes zu Hilfe, doch Königin Mushroomkhamen hält Mario für ihren Sohn und zerrt ihn mit sich in das Grab und damit nicht genug, mumifiziert Mario und versetzt ihn in einen 10 000-jährigen Schlaf! Da unsere Helden wissen, dass der einzige Weg, Mario zu retten, darin besteht, den echten Prinzen zu seiner Mutter zurückzubringen, retten sie den goldenen Sarkophag, indem sie ihn als Schlitten benutzen. Als der echte Mario durch den Mumienprinzen ausgetauscht wird, ist Mario frei und die Mumienmammi ist erfreut – besonders als sie bemerkt, wie erstaunlich ähnlich Luigi ihrem geliebten Ehermann sieht! Die Schönheitskönigin König Koopa ist dabei, das gesamte Öl aus dem Wüstenland abzusaugen, um sein Schiff anzutreiben! Als jedoch seine Koopalings einen Fehler machen und die Ölleitungen mit den Wasserleitungen verbinden, wird die Sache richtig schmutzig. Verzweifelt ruft der Sultan die Mario-Brüder. Um die Mario-Brüder abzulenken und zu verhindern, dass sie ihren Ölplan durchkreuzen, verwandelt sich Kootie Koopa in ein menschliches Mädel (mit Schwanz) und bezirzt Mario, doch als die Brüder Kooties Täuschung und Koopas Diebstahl entdecken, verwandelt sich Luigi in einen reptilartigen „Casanova-Koopa“, legt Kootie herein und gemeinsam vereiteln die Mario Brüder Koopas habgierigen Plan. Alles bunt König Koopa und seine Koopa-Kinder lassen Farbe auf die Pilzleute fallen und machen einige blau, andere rot. Cheatsy und Kooky bringen die „Roten“ und die „Blauen“ durch einen Trick dazu, eine Farbenkrieg zu führen; sogar Mario und Luigi bekämpfen sich gegenseitig und das Pilz-Königreich ist schutzlos! Die Prinzessin sendet die widerstrebenden Klempner aus, um König Koopas Plan auszukundschaften. Doch um das Königreich zu retten, müssen Mario und Luigi zusammenarbeiten und den Pilzleuten beibringen, dass Farbe Menschen nicht zu Feinden macht. Wohin mit dem Schrott? Die Koopa-Kinder räumen das Schloss auf und werfen ihren gesamten Müll in eine Warpröhre, die in das Pilz-Königreich führt! Bevor der Giftmüll das Königreich ruiniert, stehlen Mario und Luigi Hips Zauberstab und zaubern den Müll wieder zurück. Unerschrocken schicken die Koopas ihren Abfall weit fort – nach Brooklyn! Der Giftmüll fängt an, unschuldige Bürger in Quasi-Koopas zu verwandeln und bald trifft König Koopa ein, um über seine neuen „Untertanen“ zu herrschen. Die Mario-Brüder erkennen, dass sie den Müll nicht mit Magie loswerden können, bauen eine Müllrecyclinganlage, attackieren die Abfallberge und jagen Koopa schließlich zurück in die Warpzone und befreien Brooklyn von der Koopa-Herrschaft! Der Zauberstab Toad ist total vernarrt in den neuen Zauberstab des Königs der Zauberer. Gegen den Wunsch des Zauberers benutzt er den Zauberstab, um riesige Rohrkreaturen zu erschaffen, die, so hofft er, die Armee von König Koopa fernhalten werden. Toad kann die Macht des Zauberstabs jedoch nicht kontrollieren und die Rohrkreaturen wenden sich gegen ihn und richten im Königreich Verwüstungen an. Die Mario-Brüder und der König der Zauberer müssen Toad zu Hilfe kommen und Toad beschließt, das Zaubern den Experten zu überlassen. Schlechter Umgang König Koopa und seine böse Bande inszenieren die Flucht eines berüchtigten Verbrechers, „Crime Wave Clyde“, aus einem Gefängnis in der wirklichen Welt. Koopa hofft, dass er seinem Clan beibringen wird, wie man fies und heimtückisch ist und die größte Verbrechensserie in der Geschichte des Pilz-Königreichs begeht. Koopa macht Clyde durch viele ruchlose Taten völlig fertig und dieser will aus der Abmachung heraus. Mario erklärt sich bereit, Clyde zurück nach hause[sic] zu bringen, wenn der ihm hilft, Koopas Versuch, die Pilz-Schatzkammer auszurauben, zunichte zu machen.

Mind Your Mummy Mommy, Mario Hip and Hop steal the golden mummy case of Prince Mushroomkhamen, awakening the wrath of Mommy Mummy Mushroomkhamen, who tears up Desert Land in search of her kidnapped son. The Mario Brothers come to the aid of the terrified Desert Landers, but Queen Mushroomkhamen mistakes Mario for her son and drags him into the tomb, and to make matters worse, she mummifies Mario and puts him down to a 10,000 year nap! As our heroes know that the only way to rescue Mario is to return the real prince to his mother, they rescue the golden mummy case by using it as a sled. When the real Mario is exchanged for the mummy prince, Mario is set free and the mummy mommy is delighted – especially when she notices how remarkably Luigi resembles her beloved husband! The Beauty of Kootie King Koopa is in the process of siphoning off all the oil from Desert Land to power his ship! However, when his Koopalings mess up and cross the oil pipes with the water pipes, things get really messy. Desperate, the Sultan calls for the Mario brothers. In order to distract the Mario Brothers and prevent them from foiling his oil plan, Kootie Koopa transforms into a human girl (with a tail) and vamps Mario, but once the brothers discover Kootie's deception and Koopa's thievery, Luigi turns himself into a reptilian "Kassanova Koopa", tricks Kootie, and together the Mario Brothers thwart Koopa's greedy plan. True Colors King Koopa and his Koopa Kids drop paint on the Mushroom People, turning some blue and others red. Cheatsy and Kooky trick the "reds" and the "blues" into fighting a color war; even Mario and Luigi end up fighting each other, and the Mushroom Kingdom is defenseless! The Princess sends the reluctant plumbers out to spy on King Koopa's plan. But to save the kingdom, Mario and Luigi have to work together and teach the Mushroom People that color does not make people enemies. Recycled Koopa The Koopa Kids clean up the castle and dump all their junk into a Warp Pipe leading to the Mushroom Kingdom! Before the toxic trash can ruin the kingdom, Mario and Luigi steal Hip's magic wand and magically return the trash. Undaunted, the Koopas send their trash far away – to Brooklyn! The toxic trash begins turning innocent citizens into quasi-Koopas, and soon King Koopa arrives to rule over his new "subjects". The Mario brothers realize they can't get rid of the trash with magic, so they build a trash recycling plant, attack the piles of garbage, and finally chase Koopa back into the Warp Zone, freeing Brooklyn from Koopa's rule! A Toadally Magical Adventure Toad is totally infatuated with the Wizard's king's new wand. Against the wizard's wishes, he uses the wand to create giant pipe creatures that, he hopes, will keep King Koopa's army away. However, Toad cannot control the power of the wand, and the pipe creatures turn against him, wreaking havoc across the kingdom. The Mario Brothers and the Wizard King must come to Toad's aid, and Toad resolves to leave magic to the experts. Crimes R Us King Koopa and his evil horde orchestrate the escape of an infamous criminal, "Crime Wave Clyde", from a prison in the real world. Koopa hopes he will teach his clan how to be nasty and treacherous and undertake the greatest crime spree in the Mushroom Kingdom history. Koopa runs Clyde ragged with many nefarious acts, and Clyde wants out of the arrangement. Mario agrees to take Clyde back home if he helps him nullify Koopa's attempt to rob the Mushroom Treasury.
