It contains four episodes and was released by Scanbox Norge AS in 1990.[1] The cover art is taken from a screenshot of the episode "The Ugly Mermaid," specifically when Frog Mario warns the Princess of one the beams firing from King Koopa's Doom Sub.

For a long time it had become peaceful in the Mushroom Kingdom, after the super brothers Mario and Luigi frantically chased King Koopa away. But now he's back. With the wildest weapon you can imagine. His seven wildest and naughtiest kids. King Koopa and his seven Koopa henchmen make life miserable for Princess Toadstool, who desperately cries for help. Mario and Luigi are on the spot and Super Mario Bros. 3 can begin.

Errors[edit]
- The back cover of the VHS incorrectly refers to Princess Toadstool by her Danish name Prinsesse Slørhat, as opposed to her Norwegian name Prinsesse Fluesopp. This error is present on all Norwegian VHS releases released by Scanbox Norge AS due to the back cover description being reused for all of the VHSes.
