Super Mario World: 5 is a Spanish VHS release of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. It contains two episodes and was released by Producciones Panther.[1] The cover art features Mario and Luigi in a gondola while disguised as gondoliers with King Koopa and his Doom Sub looking over them.

Despite the title, the VHS does not contain any episodes of the Super Mario World cartoon; it only contains episodes of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. It is one of the two Spanish VHSes titled "Super Mario World" with this trait, the other being Super Mario World: 6.

El malvado Rey Koopa tiene el propósito de robar el tesoro de la tierra de las tuberías, para lo cuálse sirve de la ayuda del "SUPER FONTANERO"[sic], que es un héroe de T.V., para deshacerse de Mario y Luigi y conseguir así llevar acabo sus planes.

"THE VENICE MENACE"

This time, Venice is the city King Koopa wants to take over, to make a water park at Kootie Pie's whim. Our heroes Mario and Luigi are there to stop this.

"MISADVENTURE OF MIGHTY PLUMBER"

The evil King Koopa wants to rob the Pipe Land Treasury, and makes use of "MIGHTY PLUMBER"'s help, a TV hero, to stop Mario and Luigi and allow him to carry out his plans.

Errors[edit]

  • The back cover refers to Mighty Plumber as Super Fontanero ("Super Plumber"), though his name in the original Castilian Spanish dub is actually Poderoso Fontanero ("Mighty Plumber").
