Super Mario Bros. 3: Never Koop A Koopa is a VHS release of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 released on October 11, 1994 by Buena Vista Home Video.[1] It has a runtime of approximately 22 minutes and contains two episodes: "Never Koop a Koopa" and "A Toadally Magical Adventure." The front cover features Mario and Luigi running from King Koopa, while the back cover features Mario and his friends running inside of Kastle Koopa.
Blurb[edit]
In Never Koop a Koopa, King Koopa proclais he's tired of being a bad guy, but it's really a plot to capture Princess Toadstool!
Then it's one Toadally Magical Adventure, when Toad sneaks a magic wand from the Wizard King and The Kingdom[sic] gets out of control...until Mario and Luigi lend a hand!
Errors[edit]
- The front cover of the VHS features a miscolored Raccoon Mario, with skin-colored sclerae and white pupils instead of white sclerae and black pupils and the buttons on his overalls and the stripes on his gloves colored the same as his overalls and shirt, respectively. These coloring errors are present on all VHS releases of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 by Buena Vista Home Video except Super Mario Bros. 3: Misadventures In Babysitting. The front cover also colors King Koopa's eyes as white instead of yellow.
- On the back cover of the VHS, the bottom half of Princess Toadstool's dress is the same shade of pink as the rest of her dress instead of being a darker pink, while Toad's pants are missing. Toad is also colored as how he appears in the first three episodes of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, despite none of these episodes appearing on the VHS.
