The title theme is a musical theme composed for Mario Kart: Super Circuit, where it plays on the game's title screen.
Composition[edit]
The title theme uses a combination rock and chiptune instrumentation, with an electric guitar as its lead instrument for most of the song, with a brass instrument and the chiptune instruments taking over the lead position in the second half of the song. A prominent bassline and percussion backs the theme, alongside further chiptune instruments. As well, the theme features an elongated arrangement of the second half of "Super Mario Kart Title Screen".
History[edit]
Mario Kart: Super Circuit[edit]
Mario Kart: Super Circuit marks the first appearance of the title theme. After completing all cups in all speed classes with a three star rank, the title screen will change to nighttime and a different arrangement of the intro to the theme will play.
