World 8

World 8 is the eighth and final world of Super Mario Bros. In World 8, three ground levels are traversed, as well as the final castle level, which has an underwater section. World 8 is the only world in Super Mario Bros. without any checkpoints; the player is sent to the start of the level if defeated.

World 8-4 Preview for final castles from the Super Mario All-Stars versions of Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The final level of World 8, and the final level of the game. The player has to go through several rooms in order to reach Bowser and save Princess Toadstool.
