Helmet is one of the various games from the Game & Watch series. In this game, the player has to run across from the exit of one building and into the entrance of another while avoiding the various hardware tools that fall from the sky. Getting hit on the head by the rain of tools will issue the player a miss.

Game & Watch Gallery 2

This game was remade for Game & Watch Gallery 2. In Modern Mode the game has the player control Mario (or Wario if replayed immediately after of a game that ended with score less than 100 points). There would also be an ! Switch that would make coins appear. The coins could be collected for extra points and an increased entrance bonus, but collecting too many coins will make the player's character move more slowly.

Modern Mode of Helmet also featured three different areas (The area changed after every 500 points). The first area featured a Koopa Paratroopa tossing hammers, spiked balls or Podoboos at the player. The next area was a meadow that featured a Fly Guy dropping spiked balls. Cannons would constantly appear to make any spiked balls that fell into them drop faster or get fired off in 45 degree angles. The last area is a castle of sorts with three Podoboos bouncing up and down and two Thwomps. The Thowmps would eventually fly up towards the ceiling if the player was standing on either one for a few seconds. If the player never moved when this happens they'll get squished into the ceiling and penalized with a miss.
