The "Underwater Theme" is a recurring musical theme composed by Koji Kondo, first heard in World 2-2 of Super Mario Bros. It was originally set in the key signature C with the time signature of 3/4 that is mostly associated with waltz, playing at a tempo of 226 beats per minute.
