File summaries

Please remember to properly fill out the aboutfile template in the summary for future uploads (like this). Any parameters you're not using can just be removed.

For the category link, it should be an "images" category based on what work the image is from ("Category:Super Nintendo World images"), not a character category like "Category:Diddy Kong" which doesn't exist. Mario JC 20:04, November 22, 2024 (EST)

Block

You've been blocked for two weeks for edit warring the emblem page on a Last Warning. While you did eventually create a discussion surrounding it, it wasn't necessary for other users to remind you after the fact especially after an administrator (myself) undid your changes and that you've already been warned twice about this. Zok Troops categorization

Just so you know, we generally don't categorize groups under their most common species unless it's one entirely made up of a single species. For example, the Kremling Krew is made up of mostly, well, Kremlings, but we don't categorize under Category:Kremlings (and even if we did, it'd probably be better to make Category:Kremling Krew a subcategory of it instead). — SolemnStormcloud (talk) 01:15, January 22, 2025 (EST)

Consecutive Edits Reminder

Hello, Wario876. When editing, if you'd like to see how your edits affect a page, use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button. This allows you to check over your edits for any errors and make any additional changes or fixes before you save, which will prevent edits from flooding the page history and recent changes. (If you are on mobile, make sure to check the preview page thoroughly before proceeding to save.) Please try to avoid making excessive, consecutive edits to a single page within a short timespan and instead limit them to as few as possible.

What you said to Sdman213 here could have easily been worded more formally and politely. I get that you're frustrated with having your edits reverted, but there was no reason for this kind of rudeness. You then opened up a discussion on the talk page for the Kong article, which is great, but you called out Sdman213 and put them in a bad light, as shown here.

Your next block will be an infinite ban, so I highly encourage you to shape up and remember to be courteous towards everyone on the wiki. Sparks (talk) 18:17, September 18, 2025 (EDT)

I've overturned the warning. As I said in the appeal outcome, please do try to be a little calmer when speaking to other users; it's better to reach out to the user politely asking why they reverted the edit / explaining why you think it's valid from the first instance of a reverted edit than risk another edit war, that way you're more likely to get a response. You should also not continue an edit war only a few hours after a discussion while it hasn't been settled yet. Mario JC 08:54, September 21, 2025 (EDT)
