Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
Apparently Mario is dead once again. It was lack of newly announced games that killed the man. We wouldn't worry too much about it though, since he was able to fully recover the last time he died. For now, let us honor his memory by completing these six focuses in particular and nothing else. It's what he would have wanted. Before we take part in fulfilling his will and testament for the second time this decade, let's go over last month's focuses.
It was pretty good progress this cycle. ThePowerPlayer (talk) created the article for Mike Inglehart, added the checkpoint locations to World 1-2 (Super Mario Land), and added the Western Land arrangements from Super Mario Party Jamboree. Several people helped complete List of "super player" and "thank you" messages, including The Real Color Splash Fan (talk), SuperGamer18 (talk), and Miguel611 (talk). Unexpectedly, Pallukun (talk) contacted the Supper Mario Broth to help with Red Coin, who was able to confirm that Red Coins have the same hitbox as regular coins! And while we appreciate the folks who contributed to File:Chunky Kong imprisoned DK64.png, Primative (talk) and Maw-Ray Master (talk), the image isn't in a place where we're satisfied with its quality just yet.

| For an article called "Big Hit", it's anything but. For starters, it doesn't included the Team Tackle from Battle League and the only picture present is from a pre-release version of Super Mario Strikers! Get your head in the game and make the article worthy of its name. | ||
| The article strangely does not feature a screenshot of the game that featured the Return Pipe in the first place, Super Paper Mario. Fill in the void by taking the picture of it. A render of its model has also been requested if you're able to do that. | ||
| The screen may say "Finish", but we're only getting started. Take a better picture of the player timing out in Moped Mayhem. And if you're not too tired, its 2-player counterpart also needs the same treatment. | ||
| It's criminal that such a recent game has a statement that goes uncited. Supposedly, the antagonists in the Detective plays are a group named the "Sour Gang". Get your sleuthing cap on to crush this Princess Peach: Showtime! mystery. |
Now just before we leave you, we'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently 54 that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2024, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years. There are also thousands of articles with unsourced foreign names. They are found within this category, so please help out and add sources for them.
