"Thunderstruck"[edit]
As the main writer of the article "No Sleep till Brooklyn" and that of other songs from The Super Mario Bros Movie, I'm honored that you credited my work as an influence. Also, good work on your "Thunderstruck" article! I just made a few minor tweaks, but I think only "Mr. Blue Sky" is left regarding licensed songs from the movie. Not sure if you're interested in working on that, but I may start drafting in a few weeks. —

- I mean, your article is literally used as an example of the standards to set in the "Peaches" article, so I knew it was a good base for me. Also yeah, this is the first new article I'm truly proud of (the only other one I made so far was just a list of credits for a Spanish program, nothing too crazy), it took me a few days to build it up in a way which I felt was satisfying enough for me (even if some content did end up being removed afterwards, not sure what the coverage policies on that stuff were like). Also just like what I mentioned in the unimplemented proposals section, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" is also missing an article (I was originally going to add "Wedding March" as well but decided against it because it's a public domain song, which means no license would be needed, similar to a few other songs on this wiki erroneously categorized as licensed when they're actually PD in their original form). To be honest though, I mainly did the "Thunderstruck" article since I knew (and liked) the song and was shocked it didn't have an article already. I had to learn how to use Audacity just to upload the song sample... SuperGamer18 (talk) 02:16, January 30, 2026 (UTC)
- (PS: I can't access the citation you put for heavy metal, the website appears as blocked to me even though I never visited it before, would you mind looking for another source?) SuperGamer18 (talk) 02:21, January 30, 2026 (UTC)
- There are online audio trimming tools that I used to cut most of my clips, and if you have trouble finding MP3s, thereis sites which can convert songs from Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Also, did you try putting the source for heavy metal into Internet Archive? I could add an archive link to the citation. If not, I can find another site.

- And hope I'm not coming off as egocentric. I'm the one who added the note on "Peaches". Music articles aren't the most popular here, so the options are limited. —

- To be honest, I used a browser extension to get the audio from the official music video and it worked pretty well for me (I think I can survive Audacity too lmao). As for using the Wayback Machine, I didn't think about it until now, let me check... SuperGamer18 (talk) 03:18, January 30, 2026 (UTC)
- Update: ironically enough, that archived link you mentioned was the only one, and it does indeed work, I'll add that to the article myself. SuperGamer18 (talk) 03:22, January 30, 2026 (UTC)
