Star 8 is the eighth level of the Star World in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. It is unlocked after clearing Star 7 and collecting 200 amiibo Tokens. Any of the Mini Toys can be used in this level.

Overview

The Goal Door is at the top left of the level. To reach it, the player must remove the Red Girder to the right of the Mini and tap the Mini to make it walk towards the Circus Kong; once the Circus Kong tosses the Mini, they should turn on the Air Fan above it to blow the Mini to a yellow Warp Pipe, then turn the Air Fan off so it can enter. After the Mini exits the pipe, it gets blown upward by another Air Fan; the player should turn it off and draw a diagonal Red Girder so it can slide down and take out the Circus Kong on the level below, then turn the Air Fan to its left on and off so the Mini can land on a blue Color Switch and disable the blue Color Blocks. They must turn on the Air Fan to the left of the switch to blow the Mini past some Piranha Plants, then turn it off so it falls. As the Mini walks to the left, the player should turn the Air Fan near the red pipe on, then draw two Red Girders in the spaces above it and turn the fan off. The Mini descends and walks to the Air Fan to the left of the red pipe, stepping on a blue switch on the way; the player must turn the fan on and draw a Red Girder above it, then turn the fan off and remove the girder after the Mini turns around so it can cross the Color Blocks and enter the red pipe. After exiting, the Mini gets blown by an Air Fan to a Circus Kong near the top; turning the Air Fan off allows the Mini to be flung to the top and walk down and to the left, then turn around and walk toward another Circus Kong. Once the Circus Kong flings the Mini, the player should turn on the Air Fan above the Circus Kong to blow the Mini to the right, then turn it off so it falls onto a blue switch. They should repeat the same steps they took to bring the Mini to the top again, but once it walks off the top girder, turn on the Air Fan below to blow the Mini to the right; when it is turned off, it gets flung by the Circus Kong again, then walks right and falls into an Air Fan pointing right. The player must toggle four Air Fans on and off, then draw two horizontal Red Girders and turn the last fan off so the Mini can walk to a yellow Color Switch and press it. They should then remove the Red Girders so when the Mini steps into the gusts of the previously blocked Air Fans, it flies all the way to the Goal Door, then draw a Red Girder below the door and turn off the fans so it can enter and complete the level.

amiibo Tokens

The first Golden amiibo Token must be obtained using Mini Toad and his Small Crawl ability. It is below the Air Fan near the leftmost Circus Kong. The player should follow the route to the Goal Door, but after Mini Toad gets flung by the topmost Circus Kong and walks down, they must draw a Red Girder in the space to the left of the token. After he falls onto the girder and turns around, Mini Toad Small Crawls through a tight space to collect the amiibo Token.

The second Golden amiibo Token must be obtained using Mini Yoshi and his Eat Enemies ability. It is to the left of two Piranha Plants at the top. The player should follow the route to the Goal Door, but after Mini Yoshi steps on the yellow switch and gets blown by the unblocked Air Fans, they must turn on the fan directly below the horizontal Piranha Plant when he lines up with it. Once the fan is turned off and Mini Yoshi lands on the girder above, he eats the two Piranha Plants before falling into the amiibo Token.
