Diddy Kong 4 is the fourth level of Mine Cart Cove in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Diddy Kong is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.

Overview[edit]

Mini Diddy Kong begins in the top right of the level, with the amiibo Door on a ledge below him, surrounded by rocks. To reach the door, the player must remove and place the Red Girder to the left of him to drop a Shy Guy off it, then tap Mini Diddy Kong so he collects 11 Red Girders, then enters the Mine Cart near the girder. The player should then tap the Mine Cart to launch it through some rocks and make it crash into a platform to the right of the left yellow Warp Pipe. After Ledge Grabbing the platform below this pipe, Mini Diddy Kong climbs into the Mine Cart on top of it; the player should remove all the girders and draw a diagonal one near the bottom red pipe, another diagonal girder from the platform near the first girder to the corridor with six rocks and a Shy Guy, and a small horizontal girder to the right of the amiibo Door. After the player launches the Mine Cart, it crashes into the wall near the horizontal girder, and Mini Diddy Kong walks into the amiibo Door, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens[edit]

The regular amiibo Token is on a small platform above the left Mine Cart. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Diddy Kong enters the first Mine Cart, they must draw three Red Girders: a diagonal one up to the passage with a Shy Guy, another diagonal one to the eight rocks in the top left, and a horizontal one above the left yellow pipe. After the Mine Cart crashes into the left wall, Mini Diddy Kong lands on the horizontal girder and walks off; he then Ledge Grabs the platform below it and walks into the amiibo Token.

The Golden amiibo Token is between two platforms near the bottom right. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Diddy Kong boards the second Mine Cart, they must draw a diagonal Red Girder up to the passage with eight rocks near the amiibo Door and a vertical one to the right of these rocks, then launch the Mine Cart. After the Mine Cart crashes into the vertical girder, Mini Diddy Kong will fall into the token, using his Ledge Grab to pull himself onto one of the platforms after he collects it.
