Toad 2 is the second level of Mushroom Hills in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Toad is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.

Overview

Mini Toad begins in an alcove on the left side of the level, with the amiibo Door in the top right. To reach the door, the player must tap Mini Toad, then once he walks onto the Bouncy Mushroom to his left, tap it to bounce him to a ledge in the top left. The player should then tap the Bouncy Mushroom behind the ledge to bounce Mini Toad to a pair of Hammers; he will use them to break through some rocks and defeat some Piranha Plants, then slide down a slope and drop the Hammers. Once Mini Toad reaches the Bouncy Mushroom at the base of the slope, the player should tap it to bounce him onto two more Bouncy Mushrooms, then tap either of the two to send him to the level above. Mini Toad then slides down another slope to pick up another set of Hammers; the player should tap the Bouncy Mushroom behind the Hammers so Mini Toad can destroy the rocks to his right, then tap the Bouncy Mushroom below the rocks after he turns around. When Mini Toad lands on the ledge near the top right and picks up the Hammers on top, the player must tap the mushroom on the left side of the ledge to make him defeat the three Piranha Plants to his left and reach the amiibo Door, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens

The regular amiibo Token is on a girder above the bottom right Bouncy Mushroom. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Toad picks up the second set of Hammers and destroys the rocks to their right, they should tap the vertical Bouncy Mushroom on the ledge to bounce Mini Toad to another Bouncy Mushroom below the set of Hammers, then tap this one to send him to two Piranha Plants, which he will defeat. Mini Toad will then use his Small Crawl to squeeze through a tight passage onto the bottom right Bouncy Mushroom, which the player must tap to bounce him into the amiibo Token.

The Golden amiibo Token is on top of a Bouncy Mushroom in a room near the bottom center, blocked by some rocks. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Toad drops the Hammers while sliding down the first slope, they must tap the Bouncy Mushroom to bounce Mini Toad onto the two mushrooms above, then tap the vertical Bouncy Mushroom to launch him towards the Hammers so he can catch them. After Mini Toad falls through a hole and begins smashing the chain of rocks, the player should tap the vertical Bouncy Mushroom so Mini Toad can destroy the rocks blocking the gap. Mini Toad then uses his Small Crawl to move through the gap and collect the amiibo Token.
