Mario 4 is the fourth level of Boost Pad Bonanza in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Mario is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.

Overview[edit]

Mini Mario begins at the top left of the level, with the amiibo Door behind three Thwomps in the bottom right. To reach the door, the player must tap the Boost Pad to the left of Mini Mario, then tap him so he can outrun the Thwomp in the top left as it falls. After Mini Mario slides down the slope and reaches the Red Girders at the bottom, the player should remove the girder and draw it to the right of the rocks above, then tap the Boost Pads on the bottom so Mini Mario can run to the end of the passage and Wall Jump to the ledge above. Once he touches the girder, Mini Mario Wall Jumps to two Boost Pads on the right wall; the player must tap them so he can run up the wall and Wall Jump again to the top of the level. Mini Mario then runs past two Thwomps to make them destroy the rocks below them before running up two Boost Pads in the top right and Wall Jumping onto the ground above the Thwomps. The player needs to place two Red Girders below the Thwomps as soon as they rise to the top, then tap the Boost Pads so Mini Mario can run across them to the two in the bottom right corner. Once Mini Mario reaches them, the player must reverse their direction so Mini Mario can run under the three Thwomps and enter the amiibo Door, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens[edit]

The regular amiibo Token is to the left of a yellow Warp Pipe near the center. The player should remove the Red Girder underneath the Thwomp below Mini Mario's starting position before tapping him so the Thwomp can destroy the rocks beneath it, then draw the Red Girder back once it rises back up. They should then follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario Wall Jumps to the ledge above the Boost Pads, they must draw a diagonal girder to the ledge with the Thwomp and a vertical one to the left of the vertical pipe. After Wall Jumping into this pipe, Mini Mario exits the other pipe and collects the amiibo Token.

The Golden amiibo Token is at the top of a room near the center. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario Wall Jumps to the ground above the two Thwomps at the top, reverse the Boost Pads and draw Red Girders beneath the Thwomps once they rise back up. After Mini Mario dashes to the vertical Boost Pad near the center, they must draw a vertical Red Girder to its right. Upon touching the girder, Mini Mario will Wall Jump into the amiibo Token.
