In Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge, there are a total of twelve main levels alongside the ten character-exclusive worlds. These levels are usually meant to introduce the player to a new concept or element of gameplay before entering a world, thus serving as tutorial levels. The first six levels take place in the same area as Mini Mario's world, Boost Pad Bonanza, while the last six take place at night time.
