Lunar Launch is Mini Rosalina's special ability in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. It is an extremely high spinning jump that it uses when it hits tall walls, but not against walls short enough to jump up normally. Unlike normal jumps, it does not have Mini Rosalina move forward and therefore cannot be used to go over a tall wall. It can be used to land on platforms or collect coins and amiibo Tokens along tall walls, which the other Mini Toys cannot reach. Lunar Launch can be contrasted against Mini Luigi's High Jump, which Mini Luigi performs at steps rather than walls and does have it move forward to scale the steps, though it does not go as high as Lunar Launch.

Lunar Launch needs to be used in Level 11 to access Mini Rosalina's assigned amiibo Door in the top left, after disabling a group of blocks underneath it using a Red Color Switch. This door leads to Gravity Galaxy, where Mini Rosalina frequently performs Lunar Launch to advance through levels or reach bonuses positioned high above the ground.
