A red arrow, pointing into a blue diamond. It has been suggested that this article be merged into Swallow. Reason: This is the Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge rendition of Swallow, with any mechanical differences being the consequence of Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge not having an action button. Wall Jump, Floating Jump, and Bowser Bomb already cover standard information on the move as well as Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge information, so a merge would put this article more in line with them. Swallow is called "Eat enemies" in New Super Mario Bros. U, so Eat Enemies does not have a distinct name. (discuss)

Eat Enemies (referred to as Eats Enemies in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge Trivia Quiz) is Mini Yoshi's special ability in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Yoshi uses this ability to eat Shy Guys and Piranha Plants directly in front of it. In this regard, the move mirrors the real Yoshi's usual ability to extend his tongue and consume enemies. The move needs to be used in Level 4 to access Mini Yoshi's assigned amiibo Door near the middle right, after eating a Piranha Plant in the way. This door leads to Egg Launch Land, where Mini Yoshi frequently performs Eat Enemies to advance through its levels or reach bonuses surrounded by enemies.
