Mario 2 is the second level of Boost Pad Bonanza in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. It can only be played with Mini Mario.

Overview[edit]

Mini Mario begins near the top right of the level, with the amiibo Door in the bottom right. To reach the door, the player must tap the Boost Pad to the right of Mini Mario, then tap him so he runs up the wall to his right and Wall Jumps onto a small ledge near the top, grabbing a pair of Hammers. The player should then tap the Boost Pad to the left of this ledge so Mini Mario can break through some rocks before he slides down a slope and drops the Hammers. Next, they must tap the Boost Pads near the bottom of the level to allow Mini Mario to dash to the vertical Boost Pad near the amiibo Door and Wall Jump to another pair of Hammers. The player should then tap the Boost Pads to the left of the pair of Hammers so Mini Mario can run up a wall while smashing a single rock, then Wall Jump to a pair of Hammers near a long set of rocks above some Boost Pads. Mini Mario will pick up the Hammers and race across the Boost Pads while breaking the rocks near the top and middle right of the level, then slide down and enter the amiibo Door, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens[edit]

The regular amiibo Token is above the rocks in the bottom left. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario slides down the first slope, they must tap the Boost Pad to the right of the rocks to send Mini Mario towards them and Wall Jump to a small ledge with a pair of Hammers. After Mini Mario dashes to the rocks and destroys them, the player must tap the Boost Pad to the left of the rocks to make him run up the Boost Pad and into the amiibo Token.

The Golden amiibo Token is at the end of a corridor with a set of Hammers and some rocks near the center. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario reaches the Boost Pad below the amiibo Token and picks up the nearby Hammers, they must tap the Boost Pad to send him towards the rock cluster above the amiibo Door. After Mini Mario destroys the rocks and runs up the Boost Pad, he Wall Jumps into the corridor. He then picks up the pair of Hammers to break the rocks and collect the amiibo Token.
