    • Classic in its own respect. Bowser makes for a hilariously awesome main antagonist. Needs endless play mode!
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Rating: 9.9/10)
    • This game is REALLY as good as they say it is. It just takes some time for the story to develop. I somehow managed to defeat Ganon after I ran out of magic power (using the Hookshot and Biggoron's Sword).
  • Super Mario World (Rating: 9.4/10)
    • Fun game. I really like the Cape Feather. However, this game is just too easy. (I think I beat it 5 times already) I think the hardest level is Outrageous - Bullet Bills make Yoshi run away, and then Mario is gets burned repeatedly by the fire enemies.
  • Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (Rating: 9.6/10)
    • Awesome game! It could really use an endless play mode.
  • Donkey Kong Country (Rating: 8.6/10)
    • Fun game, I've beaten it twice. DK makes the game easy, but Diddy just has so many enemies that he has trouble with...
  • Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (Rating: 9.5/10)
    • Fun game, I like the idea of the multiplayer feature - although I didn't get to use it. Fairly easy game (I think I beat it 100% twice) - favorite ability is either Sword or Bomb.
  • Final Fantasy IV Advance (Rating: 9.9/10)
    • Yeah, I know - it's a remake of the original SNES FFII, which I tried and never beat. This game is easily one of my favorites, as it has a great storyline and I usually don't care about graphics. The only problem is that it starts out a little slow and boring.
  • Mario Pinball Land (Rating: 5.4/10)
    • It was a good idea, but the game is nearly impossible unless you spend a lot of time on it. The movie is barely animated, and forgetting to save can cost you lots of play time, as it automatically resets your adventure. Bowser finally has a HARD boss battle - I beat him 5 times before could finally eject him from his Castle; I lost countless times, sometimes not even doing any damage.
  • Advance Wars (Rating: 9.5/10)
    • Why does the Advance Campaign have to be impossible?
  • Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (Rating: 9.7/10)
    • Great replay value, this game is quite addicting. Campaign level selection is a great idea.
  • A Link to the Past & Four Swords (Rating: 9.6/10)
    • Easy game with some hard puzzles - the Palace of the Four Sword is a good challange. Multiplayer mayhem (Four Swords) is great.
  • Golden Sun (Rating: 9.8/10)
    • I found this game had the perfect difficultly, it had a great battle system, and long storyline. Just a little frustrating at times.
  • Golden Sun: The Lost Age (Rating: 9.5/10)
    • The world is larger and easier to get lost in. I'm not sure if I like playing as Felix as much as Issac.
  • Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Rating: 9.2/10)
    • The original was better; Bowser became playable (for 3 short fragments) which made up for a lot of it. Still retained much of the humor. Allows for infinite play mode, a big plus. Bonetail was too easy; getting to him was the hard part.
  • Luigi's Mansion (Rating: 9.3/10)
    • Controls are great - Mostly I like this game just because of Luigi. It sounds cruel, but it is SO hilarious to watch him freak out.
  • Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (Rating: 8.9/10)
    • A surprisingly fun game with simple enough controls. Fun to play multiplayer on the unlockable courses.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (Rating: 9.9/10)
    • This game is quite addicting; I really like getting each new item. The style of graphics is unique and I like it - games don't have to look realistic to be fun. The ending is astounding; possibly epic. It would've gotten a 10, but I kept getting stuck finding the Triforce charts and pieces(which seemed kind of excessive in the first place), the rest of the game is awesome.
  • Super Mario 64 DS (Rating: 9.6/10)
    • Great remake of the original. Adding the extra 30 Stars was a nice bonus. Yoshi is also playable!
  • New Super Mario Bros. (Rating: 9.3/10)
    • I felt like this game tried to put the original in 3-D, and it didn't fit... The star coins made for a good challenge (The hardest one is in the World 7 Castle, Coin #3)
  • Yoshi's Island DS (Rating: 9.1/10)
    • A hard game. Gets harder when you're trying for that perfect 100.
  • Mario Kart DS (Rating: 9.3/10)
    • A fun game; My brothers and I compete for the best Time Trial times.
  • Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (Rating: 8.8/10)
    • A very hard game. Luigi and Baby Luigi make this game great!
  • Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (Rating: 9.8/10)
    • Bowser: He's big, he's bad, he's hilarious, and he's playable! NOTHING CAN STOP HIM (except for Mario and Luigi, but they're helping him...). Only the Mario Bros. have the power to stomp Bowser X, though! Training to beat Bowser X... made it a little boring, though.
  • Kirby: Squeak Squad (Rating: 8.9/10)
    • Kirby has to kill all those enemies FOR A PIECE OF CAKE!?! Seriously, Kirby - get a different slice. I do like the Fire Sword and Ice Bomb abilities, though.
  • Kirby: Superstar Ultra (Rating: 9.6/10)
    • I like the concept of many games in one. It adds to the variety and keeps everyone happy. Favorite sub-games are Meta Knight's Revenge and MetaKnightmare Ultra. I have no idea what that last 2% is.
  • Pokemon Platinum (Rating: 7.1/10)
    • Battle Frontier is a good addition. Game gets a little boring after main storyline is beaten. Battles with other human Trainers keep it interesting.
  • Super Mario Galaxy (Rating: 9.1/10)
    • Slightly hard to navigate at times, but still was a fairly easy game. Bowser needs to step it up a notch. (His traps are harder than he is)
  • Super Paper Mario (Rating: 9.3/10)
    • Strayed from the paper tradition. Failed to use the Wii remote effectively (Tippi and items rarely used). Good difficulty, good plot. Action (battle) commands were missed. Still trying to beat that Flopside Pit!
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Rating: 10/10)
    • This game is great. I would recommend it to anyone, it is difficult (not so much if you have some friends) and really fun. Destroying the credits is awesome! This is my favorite Mario game so far: as it allows you to have multiple players at once, in challenging levels, AND you get to ride Yoshi in some levels.
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Rating: 9.8/10)
    • A HUGE improvement from the last two. Awesome graphics, Awesome music, Awesome Stage Builder, Awesome Final Smashes (well, most...). Taking pictures is also easier and better than before. And to top it all off, you can still use the GameCube controllers!
  • Pokemon: Battle Revolution (Rating 9.1/10)
    • The battles look better in 3-D, and graphics are better than Colusseum and XD(Gamecube)

Favorite Characters

Reasons:

  • Bowser is a great boss; almost always easy (once you figure out how to dodge his attacks) and he usually puts up a good fight. Also, if you can't tell from the number his quotes on my page - HE's HIRALIOUS! On top of that, he makes a strong competitor in Brawl. When he is fully playable in Bowser's Inside Story and Super Paper Mario, he becomes even more super-awesome! And the list goes on and on...
  • Yoshi can run super-fast, but still has time for Mario & friends. He PWNS in Brawl and Baseball. Blue Yoshis also have the ability to fly, which is even more awesome.
  • Luigi runs faster and jumps higher than Mario; his loss of traction adds to the challenge. His cowardice is also very funny, I just couldn't find a good quote. Another good Brawl character, also my favorite in Tennis.
  • Link series games usually have a long and captivating storyline - they take a while to beat. Also a good fighter in all three Smash games.
  • Mario is the superstar of the Mushroom Kingdom. Also good Smash/Melee character. Enough said.
  • Wario may be overweight, be he's got the strength to make up for it. Another awesome character in Brawl.
  • DK: Beware of his awesome bongo-skills! Also packs quite a lethal punch in Melee/Brawl.
  • Baby Luigi is the best part of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time; he shines throughout the entire game. Really fast runner in Baseball.
  • Meta Knight is cool; he makes short work of Brawl oppenents.
  • Petey is a home-run machine in Baseball.
  • Kirby crushes people in all three Smash games.
  • King Boo is the inspiration for Luigi's humor in Luigi's Mansion. Also has some skills in a kart.

  • Lakitu - Clouds make for an awesome ride. If only they didn't disappear when Mario used them...
  • Fawful - "I HAVE FURY!", "I have CHORTLES!", "I HAVE FAWFUL!"
  • Hammer Bro - Where does he get that giant Hammer from Mario Charged Football?
  • Princess Peach - She's still ruling when Bowser kidnaps her every day?... I think anyone else would've quit.
  • Toad - What's wrong with having a personal ARMY of HAPPY LITTLE MUSHROOMS? Although it might get creepy after a while...
  • Baby Mario - Who knew babies could run so fast? Go, Superstar Baby Mario, Go!
