Spider Stomp is a 2-vs.-2 minigame found in Mario Party 7. The minigame takes place in a dark forest inhabited by Scuttle Bugs that the players must shoot down to rescue Flutter.

Introduction[edit]

The camera records Flutter and then pans back over a forest path blocked by several spiderwebs. The teams enter the path at the start of the level, just before some Scuttle Bugs drop in and the game starts.

Gameplay[edit]

Both teams must use gun-like weapons to defeat many Scuttle Bugs. Normal-sized Scuttle Bugs take one hit to defeat, while the slightly larger ones take three hits. There are four webs blocking the path, and defeating each group of Scuttle Bugs eliminates a web, allowing players to move on to the next section. The Scuttle Bugs shoot cobwebs, which stun the player on contact. Players can also be stunned by their teammates' own shots, or by making contact with the Scuttle Bugs. A giant variant is fought at the end of the minigame. It takes 40 hits to defeat, and it attacks the players by shooting three webs at them as well as by charging at them. The first team that reaches Flutter after defeating the giant Scuttle Bug wins. If neither team does so within a certain time limit, the minigame ends in a tie.

Ending[edit]

The ending to Spider Stomp
