Parsley Woods, Course 34
Wario tossing an enemy at a Chicken Bakku in Parsley Woods.

Chicken Bakku are lazy and harmless natives of Kitchen Island in the game Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. The flying chickens were somewhat rare sights in the game, and Wario defeated them only a few times in the course of his adventure in Stove Canyon, Parsley Woods, and the S.S. Teacup. They appear as large, fat birds with metal headpieces; the elusive creatures are often found sleeping. If Wario happens to wake one up, it will not attack; instead, it will fly straight upwards, efficiently running away from the bulky antihero. The Chicken Bakku are completely unable to harm Wario; in fact, Wario can use them to his advantage. When an enemy is thrown into the bird, it will fly upwards in panic and give the yellow-clad thief 10-gold coins until it flies off the screen.

The chickens' name was revealed in volume 11 of Super Mario-Kun.
