This includes local multiplayer (where one player plays as Donkey Kong, and the other as Diddy Kong on another 3DS), a new mode of the main game which adds a third heart to the life meter, and new items in Cranky Kong's Shop (including something that catches the player's fall, something that grants an extra hit on the Mine Cart or Rocket Barrel, and something that gives the player the option to place a DK Barrel where they desire).[1] The game will be released in North America and Europe on May 24, 2013, Australia on May 25, 2013 and Japan in summer of 2013.
