Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
October is upon us once more, which means the ghost of the wiki's backlog is coming back to haunt us! Luckily, we have all of you to help combat it. It's like we're busting this ghost or something of that nature. We should be called the... Specter Sweepers. Yeah. But enough of that, let's talk about last month's focuses.
There has been good progress in the past month. BMfan08 (talk) added the missing arrangements to Wii Maple Treeway (theme) and both Scrooge200 (talk) and Vivavivi004 (talk) added images of Polari in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, respectively. While it isn't officially on the books yet, LadySophie17 (talk) has found proper names for the Baker and his brother. We would also like to mention Sargent Deez (talk), who improved some of the non-Super Smash Bros. sections of Crossovers with Punch-Out!! Unfortunately, Next Gen Epoch Golf Mini-Park and Mecha Castle were left untouched.

| With the one year anniversary of a certain hedgehog's video game, we find it fitting to put our focus towards Radical Highway. Right now, it currently lacks a description of its layout. Go and make Black Doom proud. | ||
| For a plot synopsis, it is absurdly long. In fact, this synopsis is longer than the first two journal entries in the original Dracula novel. As Jonathan Harker puts it, "It was all very ridiculous." Trim this section down to a reasonable length. | ||
| Sure, the Virtual Boy is releasing on Nintendo Switch Online, but who cares about that when we have the Virtual Boo? Unfortunately for Professor E. Gadd, the advertising for it is quite bad at the moment. Upload a higher quality image of the Virtual Boo so E. Gadd can make some Virtual Buck. | ||
| Surprisingly, this article still doesn't have its associated audio unlike every other WarioWare Gold souvenir record. Fix this up, or you might find yourself on the receiving end of Ashley's magic. | ||
| We potentially have a case of a doppelgänger in our hands. Can two Rambis appear on-screen in the level Pirate Panic? It should be rather simple to figure out on account of taking place in the first level of the game. |
Now just before we leave you, we'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently 37 that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2021, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years. There are also thousands of articles with unsourced foreign names. They are found within this category, so please help out and add sources for them.
