Cuttacuttas are mechanical crab toys that appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. They are only found in Tropical Island in Room 2-5, Room 2-8, and Room 2-9. They roll from left to right and can take elevators. If they see a Mini, they will extend one of their claws five times in an attempt to defeat them (in a similar fashion to Kānyī from Donkey Kong on the Game Boy), then move in the opposite direction as before. Cuttacuttas can be permanently defeated with either Hammers or a Fire Flower.
In the Construction Zone, Cuttacuttas can be used in the Tropical Island construction kit, Special Kit 1, Special Kit 2, and Special Kit 3.
