The second is a faithful arrangement played on the glockenspiel and acoustic guitar, and it can be heard on the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Easy and Normal difficulty. The third is a sinister synthesizer arrangement of the theme's backing chords in a minor key, and it can be heard on the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Expert and Super Expert difficulty.
Super Mario RPGEdit
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven StarsEdit
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars features two arrangements of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)", both arranged in E major by Yoko Shimomura. The first, titled 「お花畑にて」 (Ohanabatake Nite, "In The Flower Garden") in the game's official soundtrack, plays in the game's opening cutscene. It is a slower, more grandiose arrangement of the theme that quickly transitions to become ominous as Bowser kidnaps Peach.
The second arrangement can be heard in Mario's Pad and is a combination of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" and "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. It is titled "Super Pipe House" in the game's official soundtrack.
Both arrangements return in the Nintendo Switch remake, Super Mario RPG, where they were given the localized titles "In the Flower Garden" and "Super Mario House", respectively, in the Sound Player. The former is featured at the beginning of the game's reveal trailer, which shows the original opening cutscene before transitioning to the remade version.[3]
