Fish n' Drips is a 1-vs-3 minigame in Mario Party 4. Its name comes from "fish and chips," a popular take-out dish of English origin.
Lakitu is shown carrying a huge Cheep Cheep on a fishing rod. He flies down to the dock, where the solo player is on the left and the trio is on the right. The game then begins.
The solo player and team each have a large tank shaped like a Cheep Cheep that they must fill with water. The lone player is in command of a pump, while the team of three must pass a bucket of water along. The lone player must input a sequence of six buttons to fill the tank, while each player on the team must press one button to move the bucket along. The first side to completely fill its tank wins. If neither side fills its tank within 60 seconds, the minigame ends in a draw.
Once a tank is filled up, Lakitu places the Cheep Cheep in the full tank, and the player(s) with that tank celebrate(s) while the other player(s) do(es) their losing animation(s). If the minigame ends in a draw, all the players will do their losing animations.
- – Fill tank / Pass bucket
- Game Rules – "Fill the tank with enough water for the Cheep Cheep to swim."
- Advice – "The lone player can press all the buttons, but the team players must work together smoothly."
