Gertrude is an eldery, seventy eight-years-old resident of the city of Flopside in the Wii game, Super Paper Mario. According to her tattle by Tippi (or Tiptron), she is married Harold for sixty years and received a ring from her husband as a gift for their 60th wedding day (and, as stated by her, the ring was the first gift that she won from Harold). She thinks marriages are harder than what someone can think.

Her Flipside counterpart is Gladys.
