Gertrude is a 78-year-old resident of the city of Flopside in the Wii game Super Paper Mario. Her Flipside counterpart is Gladys. According to her tattle by Tippi (or Tiptron), she has been married to Harold for sixty years. At the end of the game, she states that she received a ring from her husband as a gift for their 60th wedding anniversary (her first gift from him) and goes on to say that marriages are harder than some think.
