Like their relatives, they are impervious to all kinds of direct attacks. Dark Shlurps walk slowly around the rooms of the Pit, sucking up and swallowing whatever gets in their way. If Mario gets too close to a Dark Shlurp, it will suck him up and spit him out, causing damage in the process.
