The Muteki Kyodai Pakkun (無敵巨大 パックン, "Invincible Giant Piranha Plant") is the first original enemy faced in the Super Mario-kun manga, met in the second chapter of volume 1.
It presents itself like a normal Piranha Plant, leading, under Bowser's order, a group of Jumping Piranha Plants. After Mario defeats them with the SNES Nunchaku, the Piranha Plant reveals its real form: it has a big and robust stem and roots, its head becomes bigger, and its colors become inverted with its spots shaped like explosion effects. It also has a snout and big eyes.
