Cheepers Keepers (Hook, Line and Cheep Cheep in the British English version) is a general minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. Its name is a play on the saying "Finders Keepers." The British English name is a pun on "Hook, line, and sinker," which was punned by the Mario Party 3 minigame Hand, Line and Sinker.
Introduction[edit]
The players are out on a dock. Suddenly, something catches their fishing hook and reel out a Cheep Cheep each. They throw their fishing rod hook back into the water and the minigame begins.
Gameplay[edit]
The players press a certain button as many times as they can in five seconds to catch the most Cheep Cheeps. Whoever has the most Cheep Cheeps after three rounds wins.
Controls[edit]
- – Catch Cheep Cheep
In-game text[edit]
- Rules – American English "Press the selected button as fast as you can to reel in Cheep Cheeps."
- Rules – British English "Press the displayed buttons as many times as you can before time runs out. The more you press it, the more Cheep Cheeps you'll catch!"
