"Super Mario Kart"[1] is the title theme from Super Mario Kart that has become a recurring leitmotif throughout the Mario Kart series. It was composed by Soyo Oka and has been a part of the title screen music of every mainline Mario Kart game besides Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

Mario Kart 64
The title screen theme of Mario Kart 64, titled "Mario Kart 64 Theme" in Mario Kart 64 Race Tracks and the Mario Kart 64: Greatest Hits Soundtrack and simply "Title" in the Mario Kart 64 Original Soundtrack, mainly consists of an elongated arrangement of the first half of the Super Mario Kart theme and was arranged by Kenta Nagata.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit
The music played during Single Game Pak multiplayer in Mario Kart: Super Circuit is an arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
An arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme is included in the music heard on the title screen of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Mario Kart DS
An arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme is included in the music heard on the title screen of Mario Kart DS.
Mario Kart Wii
An arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme is included in the music heard on the title screen of Mario Kart Wii.
Mario Kart 7
An arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme is included in the music heard on the title screen of Mario Kart 7. Two more arrangements, one based on the original theme and the other based on the arrangement from Mario Kart 64, can be heard during the game's credits theme.
Mario Kart 8
The title screen theme of Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (titled after the base game in the official soundtrack) includes an arrangement of the Super Mario Kart theme and was arranged by Atsuko Asahi. An arrangement of a few notes from the theme briefly plays during the "Staff Credits" theme, arranged by Ryo Nagamatsu.
Other arrangements
A rap remix of the theme performed by the Ambassadors of Funk titled "Super Mario Kart" is included in the album Super Mario Compact Disco.
A funk arrangement of the "Mario Kart 64 Theme" simply named "title" is included in the album Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit. The arrangement is arranged and performed by AKOUST and mixes funk instrumentation with samples from the original arrangement as well as game sound effects and character voice samples.
