Pinwheels are aquatic creatures that appear in the Wario Land series. They dwell in bodies of water and try to impede Wario's progress throughout the game. They resemble tiny seahorses of red colour and possess spiked backs. One of their abilities is curling up into a ball.
Their only appearance has been during the events of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. Pinwheels bear a resemblance to Yurarin and Yurarin Boo of Super Mario Land, which implies that they are related somehow.
