World 6-3 is the only jungle level in World 6 in New Super Mario Bros. The level is mostly centred around Piranha Plants and Venus Fire Traps. World 6-3 is also the second and last level containing a Moneybags, and the only level to contain Spiked ? Blocks and rolling logs.
This level takes place in a jungle like World 4, and has many pipes in it, most of them having Piranha Plants and Venus Fire Traps in them. The player starts near a Spiked ? Block. To begin, Mario should hit a block with a string attached to it, so he can jump on it to get the first Star Coin. The player should then enter a red Warp Pipe, entering an area with poison and rolling logs. There is also a Red Ring in this area. After exiting the area, Mario should enter the second green pipe from where he is standing to obtain the second Star Coin. Next, Mario should enter the pipe to the far right. This area contains many Piranha Plants and additional rolling logs. Mario can get the third Star Coin by finding a Moneybags, following it until it is on the pipe the player just exited, jumping on top of it, and moving left to get the coin. They could also use the Mega Mushroom to smash the pipes. Wall jumping is necessary to exit this area. Soon, Mario will reach the pole.

Mario should hit a block with a string attached to it and jump over to the coin.

After exiting the first underground area, the player must head to the second pipe after the pipe they exited.

After exiting the last underground area, the player should see a Spiked ? Block. They should hit it to remove the spikes and dash-jump left to go over the screen and fall into a bonus area. To escape, they must Wall Jump, or use a Mega Mushroom to break through the pipes.
