Battle Course 1 is the first battle course of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It looks like it appears in Mario Circuit. Its form is a square, with walls and sand in the middle. It resembles Battle Course 4 of Super Mario Kart, but smaller. Battle Course 1 will be reappearing in Mario Kart 7 as a retro battle course. Rocky Wrenches have been added to the course and a small ramp at the center where the sand is.
