Yeah, the various artists could probably use pages, or at least one hub sort of page (like the staff pages for the games). That is embarrasing.. for me ! I didn't mean canonical, but canon :) And by the way, I forgot Iggy, Spike and Big Bertha. Thank you for expanding my stub subsections.

No problem :) Something canon is something that happened, and something non-canon is something that didn't happen. In the Mario games, there aren't official non-canon stuff, but some people consider that stuff like Hotel Mario, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario Bros. Movie, Cartoons are non-canon and haven't happened in the Mario universe. What I meant is that Mario Mario is not canonical, because what Mario Mario did, Mario haven't done it. But in fact, they are two different characters, so I shouldn't have said "canon".

What I meant :

We consider that film characters are not the same as video games characters
But in the Mushroom King article, they are considered as the same !

(I haven't explained it very well...) Do you want to be my friend (I haven't a userbox tough) ? No problem if you don't want :)

Mario's Early Years! Logo Transparency

Thanks for editing my image. But I have two questions :

What is the difference ? I know the white is supposed to be transparent but on the Mario's Early Years! (series) page it's still white. An example : This one is transparent because of the little squares behind the sprite, but not the Mario's Early Years! logo :/
How do you do that ?If you explain it to me I will be able to do it by myself later !

FA nomination

Actually your nomination can't pass because it requires a week wait so that people can form new oppositions if the situation calls for it. and your nomination will fail before the week is up and the rules don't call for an extension and the rules can't be changed because the proposal also didn't call for an extension. Hey Ben! Long time no chat.! I'm fine you ? Yes its true I created a great deal of the Nintendo Land minigame articles and not just here on MarioWiki. However even though I agreed with the proposal I still am not entirely convinced. Having those NIWA articles was good enough for me. But after all I really don't mind and that was why I agreed to the proposal. But I never intended to create them myself. I'll have no objection to someone else making them, but I didn't agree to the proposal so I could make those articles myself. If I was going to make them, I'd make them for the appropriate wikis instead (which in most cases I did). So I think I'll let the job be done by someone else instead...

My Wii U was my Christmas / Birthday present (my bday is on the 2nd) but I've also managed to snag in New Mario U and Fifa 13... when they finally arrive that is. Also I'm hoping to get the Pro Controller with any extra money I'm blessed with. As for the 3DS, now that I've got Ocarina of Time which is keeping me real busy, I don't need to get more games for it. Although next on my list would be Star Fox and then maybe Sticker Star.... it might sound a lot but considering those are the only things I get for Christmas.... it seems fair enough xD We should start emailing each other again if you like. Your french is very good too ! I can't judge myself, but I have heard that it's a tricky language, right ? For instance, the vouvoiement and the tutoiement : you can use the pronoun "tu", it's friendlier ! And I don't want to be rude, but you misplaced the "é" : "parlez" and "désirez". French is tricky ! Si tu veux parler en français, je veux bien ! A last question : how did you take the screenshot of Virtual Boy Wario Land ? With an emulator I guess ?

I see that you're on a roll with this. Granted that you're only able to post one of each sprite animation of Peach in relation to the Super Princess Peach game, but have you managed to get each frame of Peach's animations from the DS' bottom screen? Some people told me it was almost impossible on their attempts when they were trying to get Peach's "Calm" animation. And wow, I almost forgot about that animation Peach does when the ground shakes (I'm guessing that occurs when a puzzle that's solved which results to that). --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! You are always talking with me. how about we discuss cackletta's soul. I found some interesting trivia. Cackletta's Soul resembles the Ultimate Beast from the 3DS Mii Quest game on Mii Plaza or something like that. Is it worth the trivia. i think this should work. just add it to User:YoshiKong/common.js. this only applies to the link in the side bar, though. if you need it to do more i can change it

basically, css can only be used to control how a website looks. if you want to change something about the function, like to which url a link points, you need javascript

on most other wikis, if you go to the appearance tab of Special:Preferences, you'll see a list of different skins you can choose between. one of those is called "MonoBook", and things you put in /monobook.css and /monobook.js will only be applied when using the monobook skin. every skin has a page like that, so for example you could apply a style to the vector skin that is used on wikipedia by editing /vector.css. /common.css and /common.js are special, in that styles and scripts on those pages apply to every skin

on this wiki, though, the only available skin is monobook, so the distinction between /monobook and /common is moot - 2257^(Talk) 15:08, 23 December 2012 (EST)

Me being a "terrible/horrible/no good/very bad wiki member"

Its tough to explain, but the 1st time I ever joined a wiki (which is this one being my 1st ever wiki to join and contribute to), I was unused to doing edits/contributions, because I didn't know where on a page to do my contribution. It took a while to figure out how to work it out, but heres the problem: every time I do an edit/contribution to a page and check back with it, the contribution/edit of mine gets erased. On the Toadette page here, I was trying to add my opinion of what I think of Toadette's appearances in games in the trivia saying that she dosent appear much in the Mario series (regardless of whether she's playable or non-playable), but those statements of mine got erased from the trivia. (sigh) So, I was forced to re-edit the page again. But a few minutes later, IT GETS ERASED AGAIN! The charade kept up until nighttime and it came to my mind saying "Thats it, its time to call it quits!". I didnt know there were other users that work here in the 1st place and with this gig keeping up, I finally decided to quit Mario Wiki (as in pack up and quit a job I hate). I then decided to join Transformers wiki and contribute to one of my #1 most favorite pages on Transformers: ROTF by adding photos I took from the movie, but a few minutes later, they got deleted! I then attempted to reupload them again, but they still got deleted! I felt forced to quit Transformers wiki and I decided to move to Disney Wiki. I decided to contribute to the Mickey/Minnie mouse pages by putting their Chinese names in the trivia section, but they still got erased from time to time every time I try to re-add them. I was thinking either the wikis I contributed to hate me or I'm not a good editor. I just don't understand wikis anymore. :(--Toadettefan1000 (talk) 22:57, 26 December 2012 (EST)

Knowing about users whereabouts on Wiki

Oh good! What a reli- wait a sec. How did U know that was my picture I posted? (Well, technically it came from a YouTube user's video (due to the fact the YT username is included on the bottom right) that I used both the print screen button and MS paint to create, because finding real images on the web is very hard). No offense but, Mario Wiki is a big site! And every users move on the wiki is unpredictable and its tricky (at least for me) to tell where a user is going to strike next (at least for my knowledge)! For me, it often takes at least 1 hour or even a day to scan the whole site!
