Warning[edit]

Warning.svg
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (giving out block threats to other users) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Giving block threats or saying other users need to be blocked when they haven't done any sort of significant violation of the rules in the wiki is breaching on the these guidelines. If you feel someone has done something that doesn't sit well with you, discuss it civilly with the user rather than claiming that they need to blocked. Thanks for your time and I hope you read the policy a bit more carefully before you jump onto this kind of unacceptable behavior. By the way, The occasional use of profanity is allowed as long as it is not directed at another user, but it should generally be avoided. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 16:55, 8 February 2015 (EST)

Well he said a very bad word. MarioKart7player (talk)

You mean "itchy" with a b? Well yeah, it is profanity, but the wiki does allow occasional use of it. If you don't like it, you should have politely asked that she refrain from using those words. And yeah, Mario is a girl. My twin actually. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 17:02, 8 February 2015 (EST)

I'm not directing it at anyone for the first part. Second, being vulgar is sometimes the most honest way to express myself. Third, these bad words, since they're not directed at anyone nor do they have any direct, inappropriate sexual context, are ultimately meaningless. Finally, yeah, please assume good faith on my part even if I do have garbage spewing out of my mouth; I still have feelings. I don't want any big drama just because I said a bad word or two. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 17:34, 8 February 2015 (EST)

Quick Guide to Resizing Images[edit]

To resize images just change the following:

from this:

To this: [[File:Yoshi Artwork - Mario Party Island Tour.png|[AMOUNT OF PIXELS YOU WANT YOUR IMAGE TO BE]px|thumbnail]]

For example:

appears like this, and takes 70 pixels:

Artwork of Yoshi in Mario Party: Island Tour (also used in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars)

Alternatively, you can also use the image-adding wizard tool on top of the editing window, which can assist you resize your image, move it left or right, caption it, and easily format the image.

I hope this guide helped!

Andymii (talk) 17:32, 9 February 2015 (EST)

Hmmmmm what dose that mean? I don't get it. MarioKart7player (talk) 18:02, 9 February 2015 (EST)

Don't worry; I'll explain again. To easily add an image, there's a simple trick to avoid all that complicated coding. Do the following:

 1. Click a page to edit.
 2. Once you start editing a page, press the yellow button above the editing area.
 3. Add the EXACT name of the image in the space it says "filename." For example, if the name of the image is File:Yoshi Artwork - Mario Party Island Tour.png , type it in there (or copy and paste).
 4. Caption the photo, if you want.
 5. Here is where it gets important. Where it says "size," you'll notice it says "default." Instead, type in any number. The higher the number, the bigger the picture. Likewise, the smaller the number, the smaller the picture.
 6. Press the "Align" pull-down menu next to it, if so desired. There, you change where your image is on the screen (left, right, center, or normal).
 7. Finally, formatting: click the "format" pull-down menu. This determines if you want your picture to have a frame or not. Thumbnail mode has frames AND can caption, so most of the time, go with that one.
 8. Finally, press "Insert."
 9. And just in case, check your work by pressing "show preview."

There you have it, a complete step-by-step guide. Don't hesitate to ask me if you still have any questions; you seem pretty young and new to the wiki, and I understand (I'm only like three years older than you). It'll takes some practice, but you'll get the hang of it pretty soon. Andymii (talk) 18:46, 9 February 2015 (EST)

Thanks a lot. MarioKart7player (talk) 19:00, 9 February 2015 (EST)

Friends[edit]

To be blunt, we have never interacted in any meaningful manner, and I know absolutely nothing about you. I'd rather be friends with people that I'd genuinely like to be friends with, and not just random people who ask for friend requests. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Creations[edit]

Help:Signature and Help:Userbox explains it to you better than I can, but feel free to ask me any questions! Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Re: Friends[edit]

Sure, why not. I can give you a userbox and all, but I'll be honest, I don't talk much and I'm not online a whole lot. |-

Talk:Main Page[edit]

I'm sorry, but you really have to stop posting "how do I do X"-type questions on Talk:Main Page. As I already told you there twice before now, that is not what the page is for. So far, your questions are all things you honestly should have figured out on, either by looking at image pages, the sidebar or by visiting help pages. MarioWiki:Rules lists all the help and policy pages: next time you have a question, look for the page that's about the subject and read the page before you go asking someone to explain it to you. If you can't find an answer you need on any policy or help page, try looking here, or as a last resort, ask someone directly or post your question on that page's talk page - NOT the Main Page's talk page. If you keep posting editing help questions there, I'll have to give you a formal Reminder next time. Also, please read Help:Signature, as currently you're signing pages with raw coding and that's not allowed either. - Walkazo 19:11, 1 March 2015 (EST)

If you edit the sections, you can see that when I sign, is pasted, but when you sign, the raw coding of your signature is pasted ( User:Mario Kart 7 Rules (talk · edits) ). This is because you don't have your preferences set up correctly: as explained on Help:Signature, you need to put in the preferences field, rather than just User:Mario Kart 7 Rules/sig (or whatever it is you've done), in order for the signature to be placed on pages when you sign with ~~~~, rather than the raw coding on the sig page getting substituted. Having raw coding everywhere is clunky and distracting, and it won't be updated if you change your sig, so it's better for everyone if the sig itself gets pasted when you sign, hence the policy. And while we're on the subject, your signature itself needs to be shortened: it needs to be able to fit in the blue box on MarioWiki:Signatures, and yours is much longer than that currently. The size restrictions are also to keep pages tidy and readable, rather than having giant signatures everywhere making things messy and distracting. - Walkazo 22:01, 1 March 2015 (EST)
You can have whatever design you want as long as it fits in the blue box: the stuff on help signature is just a basic guideline for getting people started, and you don't need to use that exact design if you don't want to. But what you do need to follow are the instructions under the "Preparing for usage" header, which you clearly have not done, since you're still signing with raw coding. I.e. on my page now, you're signing with User:Mario Kart 7 Rules (talk edits) when it should really be . As outlined in Help:Sig, go to your "preferences", scroll down to the Signature box, and paste into the "New signature:" field. After that, it should start working properly. - Walkazo 10:41, 2 March 2015 (EST)

No, pay me $40 now.[edit]

It's okay. You're not really a bad user. Please be careful about these kinds of messages though. I mean, I know I said a bad word, but it doesn't make me a demon. I promise I won't swear at you. :) Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:22, 2 March 2015 (EST)

This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki.
If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

I understand wanting to start fresh after going through some trouble. But know that if you do create another account again, both this and the new accounts will be blocked indefinitely.

Have a nice day. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:25, 21 May 2017 (EDT)

How can I have a nice day when I have left this wiki for good? And why are people so mean and block you without giving them a chance when they didn't know it was wrong? WHY MARIO WIKI PLZ TELL ME WHY!!!!!!!! 69.40.89.75 19:12, 23 June 2017 (EDT)

Walkazo[edit]

I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you didn't make a comment like this again. Never mind the fact that you replied to a resolved, three year old subject (even if it is your own). But by looking through your conversations with Walkazo, it seems like she was nothing but helpful to you. Now I don't know of any private conversations, but you shouldn't say something like this about her, or anyone for that matter. Very rude, especially considering Walkazo was nothing but kind to most people, including you.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time here, but if you are having some trouble with something, best to ask for help rather than complain about it. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 15:34, 17 May 2018 (EDT)

Bowser the Yoshi, Walkazo was killed in a car accident back in March of 2016. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 15:50, 17 May 2018 (EDT)
Walkazo was a bureaucrat, so if she did yell at you, it's because she was trying to get her point across and for you to listen to her; she wasn't trying to bully you, as that goes against one of the points of being an administrator. We're not going to tell you when you can and can't have an account, as that's mainly up to you. Though it's generally a good idea to join an internet community once you have a good grasp on how an internet community works. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:45, 18 May 2018 (EDT)

If you had known that, then you should know how completely disrespectful it is to try to "get back" at her by responding to a years old incident that she will never resolve again. Also, no, age restrictions don't work in the internet in the slightest, given the anonymous nature and how easy it is to lie your age. Also, if you want to leave, then leave: if the wiki is not doing you any good favors, it's not helping you or anyone here if it contributes to any negative feelings you have. Though in general, it is expected that any community you join you should at least know rules of decency, politeness, and respect regardless of your age: your attitude, as frank as I am, wouldn't be welcome in any decent community. If you feel like you have improved your attitude and learned from your mistakes and come back here after some time, we would be happy to serve you regardless. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 19:41, 18 May 2018 (EDT)

Also, from what I can see on here, you were not "abused" on here in any way. I myself didn't join this community until I was 19 despite finding the site about 10 years earlier, but from what I can tell, every time someone said anything even remotely stern to you, it was because you acted up majorly. If anything, people were being quite lenient and forgiving. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:51, 18 May 2018 (EDT)
That is totally a lie. I don't see any forgiving in my whole page. Walkazo had no forgiveness in her "You need to STOP..." and the warnings were not forgiving. How Come you just don't see this? Anyway, I am leaving. I not the kind of guy who is going to curse; I'll just keep my madness inside.
User:Bowser the Yoshi 15:40, 31 May 2018 (EDT)
You completely missed the point of the word "forgiving." The point was, they let you act up far more than they probably should have without repercussion. And if you decide to shriek about how everyone else is wrong, accuse people who psychologically cannot lie of lying, accuse people of being "abusive" when they're being one of the most lenient communities to actually have any organization at all, and make rude comments towards people you know are dead now.....then you're just being, by definition, inordinately petty. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:39, 31 May 2018 (EDT)

Last Warning[edit]

Lastwarn.svg
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki.
If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Okay, now really stop. Both of these comments were demeaning and outright discourteous. It's perfectly fine if you want to leave the wiki for good, but you will be blocked should it appear you are being discourteous again. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 15:46, 31 May 2018 (EDT)

I don't really see what you are doing wrong but I think you can stop now. I do see people are being stern to you for sure, but they aren't trying to be mean. The warning is their job, even if it does look like it is dang mean. So if you ever read this, these people are not mean. But don't worry I ain't pushing some shame on you, I have made the same mistake. Now I see your own hidden question, "why do people say they are nice when they are shoving meanness right in my own face?" but really, they aren't. If you need to talk this over with them or me, just forgive them, move on with life, help the wiki. Hope this insane message helps ya kid! BlitzWolf8 (talk) 12:35, 4 June 2018 (EDT)
You know, Bowser the Yoshi, the admins already caught you for sockpuppeting once, it really isn't a good idea to sockpuppet again and pretend that you're a different user because you're not fooling anyone. It's advisable to stop blowing your reputation into pieces on this wiki and actually leave before you make things worse for yourself. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 13:58, 4 June 2018 (EDT)

Removing comments[edit]

Not sure if you saw my edit summary, but regarding this string of edits you made a few days ago, letting you know you shouldn't mess with older comments, even your own. You also changed the date on some of them. Doing this messes with the message history and should just be left alone. The typo correction you made immediately afterward was fine, though.
