Cold Front is a 4-Player minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Alongside its regular 4-Player variant, this minigame has an Endless variant that can be played in the Free Play mode in Minigame Bay, in which high scores can be recorded and compared with other players online.
Overview[edit]
The opening shows players dodging the wind blown by the top middle Ty-foo. The second and third players jump to dodge.
When the minigame begins, the players are standing on a 2×3 slippery ice grid, with three Ty-foos behind it and two to the right, all facing the arena. Players must avoid being blown off the arena by the Ty-foos' winds, which are initially blown by one Ty-foo at a time; as the minigame progresses, multiple Ty-foos begin to blow wind at the same time. The last player standing wins.
In the minigame's Endless variant, there is no time limit, as the objective is simply to survive as long as possible. Achieving a record of at least 40 seconds in Endless mode unlocks the "Born in the Ice" achievement.

"Cold front" refers to a low pressure system where the edge of a cool mass of air moves into a region of warmer air, resulting in cooler, wetter weather.
