If the player gets into a certain amount of points, the player wins. If the player misses the ball that is hit on the ground, the player loses. In Free Play, the player can gain points for fun.

Spooky Spike is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance.

Introduction[edit]

Boo spikes a ball at the player, who deflects it from the ground.

Gameplay[edit]

The player attempts to dive to hit the balls Boo spikes to earn points. Boo spikes a ball in one of four directions: in front, behind, to the left, or to the right of the player. The player can see the shadow on the ground that comes from the ball to tell which direction it is going. If the player gets a certain number of points, the player wins.

In the Shroom City mode, the player must spike ten balls in 30 seconds to win. In Mini-Game Attack, the player must spike fifteen balls within 30 seconds. In Play Land, the player must earn as many points as possible; the minigame ends in this mode when a ball hits the ground.
