Overview[edit]

In the introduction, both players toss a hammer at each other, but they move to avoid being hit.

Both players start with three hearts, and each must defeat the other by throwing a set of hammers at them (like a Hammer Bro). Both players can toss a hammer either across the arena at an arc or straight up into the air. Players must also be careful to avoid hitting any hammers, as even a player's own hammer can damage them. The player who depletes their opponent's hearts first wins.

The minigame is played in Shroom City when the player arrives at Mushroom Beacon. There, Blooper challenges the player to this minigame; victory results in winning Hammergeddon in Play Land.
