Flingshot is a single-player minigame that appears in Mario Party Advance. The name is a portmanteau of the words "fling" and "slingshot."

Gameplay[edit]

The objective is for the player to launch themselves as far as possible by using a giant slingshot. The player builds power by tapping the A Button and B Button buttons repeatedly for five seconds. The faster the player presses the buttons during the time, the farther they will go. As the player is flying, they can press Up and Down on the Control Pad in order to either fly higher or dive down. Updrafts also appear; vertically facing ones send the player higher, and horizontal ones send the player farther. The farther the player flies, the more points they earn.

In the Shroom City mode, a score of at least 5,000 is needed to win. In Mini-Game Attack, at least 9,000 points must be earned to clear the minigame.
