O-Zone is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 6. Its name is a pun on "ozone layer." The game's website has a game entitled "Tic Tac Whoa!" which is based on this minigame.
Introduction
The introduction shows all the spaces uncovered; they are then covered and spun around on the platform they are on in a 360-degree turn.
Gameplay
To win this minigame, the players must ground-pound certain spaces that have O's under them. If the space a player ground-pounds is an X, lightning bolts come down on the player and stun them for a few seconds. Some spaces do not have a letter under them at all; nothing happens if these spaces are pounded. A player can also ground-pound their opponent to stun them temporarily. Once a player gets three O's out of five on the board, they win. If neither player ground-pounds three O's within 60 seconds, the minigame ends in a tie.
