The Mushroom Times are a newspaper that appears in the instruction booklet of Mario Pinball Land.[1] It explains that Princess Peach was launched to Bowser's castle with the Sky Cannon during the ceremony and that Mario went to save her. It also includes additional information about the Pinballer and the Sky Cannon. The newspaper contains images.
It is implied that the Mushroom Times are a daily newspaper located on Toadstool Street and Second Avenue.
The Mushroom Times are also mentioned in an issue of Nintendo Comics System, Bedtime for Drain-Head, in which Mario tells Luigi to write the Mushroom Times a letter after being told that Bowser has kidnapped Toad.
