World 6-Castle is the castle level of World 6 in New Super Mario Bros.

Layout

Boss fight against the Monty Tank

When the level starts, there are some stone platforms that Mario has to jump on. In this area, there are some red Koopa Troopas. There are also two ? Blocks with coins and a ? Block with a power-up. The first and second Star Coin is also in this area. After dodging some fireballs, Mario will reach the midway point. After the midway point, there is a ? Block with a power-up and a red Koopa Troopa. The last Star Coin can be obtained by Wall Jumping to the top platform, running and jumping off a red Koopa Troopa, and goes right at the moment a stone wall is at its lowest point, and going right. There are two stone walls preventing Mario from going on with the level until they open. After the stone walls, there is a ? Block containing coins. After that, there are platforms that go up and try to crush Mario. The platforms also can go down, making it safe for Mario to go through. After going pass the platforms, there is a door. After going through the door, there are platforms that moves left and right. After the platforms is a boss door. Past the door is World 6's boss, Monty Tank. The battle takes place outside the castle. After beating Monty Tank, Mario is able to go to the final World, World 8.

Star Coins

	After crossing a few stone platforms, Mario will see this coin just above the lava. It cannot be obtained directly, so the player must toss a Koopa Troopa shell at it to obtain it.
	Just before midpoint, this coin is on a low stone platform. Mario must time his jumps carefully to grab it without falling into the lava.
	Shortly after midpoint, Mario can bounce off a Koopa Troopa to get on top of a pair of stone walls that move vertically, and then walk above the ceiling, off-screen, to find the third Star Coin in an alcove.
