Locations
The show takes place in Kongo Bongo Island, an island based on Donkey Kong Island from the games. Unlike Donkey Kong Island, which is in the shape of Donkey Kong's head, Kongo Bongo Island is in the shape of a banana.

The White Mountains is an area that consists up of very little, except its snowy mountains. It is the homeland of Eddie the Mean Old Yeti, and it is also seen as a place of banishment on two occasions. The White Moutains is based on the Gorilla Glacier from Donkey Kong Country. |

The Ostrich Bananza is a Bananza that Donkey Kong can activate in Donkey Kong Bananza to transform into an ostrich with the ability of fluttering and gliding. Donkey Kong can also use Skill Points to gain the ability to use Egg Bombs, which are explosive eggs he can use to send an explosion beneath him. It is learned by the Ostrich Elder in the Forest Layer, and it can either be the second or the third Bananza learned, depending on if the player selects to go here or to the Freezer Layer in The Divide. The Ostrich Bananza is a reference to Expresso from Donkey Kong Country, with them both being ostriches with similar abilities.
