Bees are robotic, toy-like bees which appear as enemies in the Yoshi's Fruit Cart attraction in Nintendo Land. Bees can appear in three sizes, a small bee, a medium-sized bee wearing a mustache, and a large bee wearing a crown and a mustache. Besides size, all bees behave identically, continuously moving in fixed paths such as circles, rectangles or straight lines. If the Yoshi Cart comes into contact with a bee, it loses a life and must restart the Gate, with the bee also disappearing in the process. Bees can also be eaten by the Yoshi Cart if it activates a chili plate. Bees always stare directly at the Yoshi Cart.
The largest bee also appears as an unlockable prize at the Nintendo Land Plaza.
