Unlike standard Pokeys, they cannot fall on [[Mario]], as they are too small. Instead, they hide in the ground, pretending to be flowers, and jump when he approaches. Trivia

  • The overworld sprite of Pokeys in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time appears identical to a Pokey Sprout.
  • They can be watered like normal flowers in Super Mario Sunshine before they attack, but this does not produce coins like a real flower. They do not make noises either.
