A Mame Block
The Mame Block is one of Mametchi's five special items in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.
The Mame Block can be shot both forwards and backwards in a straight line. Upon hitting a racer, the Mame Block will hover above their head briefly before crashing down upon them and bringing them to a complete stop, much like a Basin. Unlike the Basin, however, the Mame Block hits twice in a row before disappearing.
